We cannot know or say what is and isn't art. Someone with a Ph.d in the Arts may claim to be able to determine art from non art.. but these days.. anything can be called art. Anyone can create art.. i have heard of a six year old girl who would paint pictures.. they were not of asny world image but just colours on a canvas. Some of these paintings sold for thousands of dollars, people considered them master peices. Does it have to be old to be art? no.. not in my opinion. Does it have to be good to be considered art? Guess not, looking at some of the crappy artists who find the money to make their stuff.. and then get paid for it. We cannot determine art ourselves, something we think is crappy may be seen as something brilliant to someone else. I guess I just have to suck it up and call everything art.
Even this piece. It does need an appreciating audience.. even if it is just the creator.
