Gound Hogs Day

Another subject that was brought up in class about this movie is the character traits of a human. It was mentioned that everyone is good on the inside, it doesn't always show. People are generally good, but have a hard time showing it..... especially to strangers. This day loop phenomena brings the worst and then the best out in Phil. Everyone who can't help others just needs a little shove to help them on their way. In Natural Disasters we see so many people helping other people... strangers. The heroic acts of people show that their is no lack of compassion in people... just a lack in events to express it.

Ground Hog Day

The movie "Ground Hog Day" was at first all about Phil. Phil, the main character got thrown into a loop where he was living the same day over and over. He tried to find out what was going on and could not. Then he started using the phenomena to his own advantage, bringing pleasure to himself. When this became boring and he could not live with this, he began committing suicide. WOW sorry for retelling the whole thing. Eventually he realised that helping others would make him a lot happier than helping himself. It brings true happiness. This is somethings that people have a hard time understanding, including myself. Everyone is so caught up in their own world with their big toys and cash that they don't see the people in need around them. Human are naturally looking out for # 1. The lesson we must learn is, that helping out #2- 7billion reaps a lot more gifts than we can ever imagine. All we have to do is look outside our box and see all the need around us. Whether we are giving food, money, shelter, friendship or hope.
